Recommended Goal Levels
Choose a goal that is challenging but achievable based on your situation:
Light
5 per weekGood for passive job seekers or those currently employed with limited time.
Standard
10 per weekThe default recommendation. About 2 applications per weekday.
Intensive
20 per weekFor full-time job seekers who can dedicate significant time daily.
Aggressive
30+ per weekFor urgent searches. Focus on quality to avoid burnout.
Tips for Success
Start Realistic
Begin with a goal you can consistently hit. It is better to exceed a lower goal than miss a higher one.
Quality Over Quantity
While volume matters, make sure each application is tailored and thoughtful. Do not sacrifice quality for numbers.
Front-Load Your Week
Try to get ahead early in the week. This gives you buffer for busy days and reduces Friday stress.
Adjust as Needed
If you consistently miss or exceed your goal by a lot, adjust it. The right goal pushes you without burning you out.
